Bread & sourdough

Terms of Use

Scope, responsibilities and reasonable use.

These terms apply to LoafRiseLab and its bread & sourdough calculator, guides and related pages. Use the site lawfully and read the limits relevant to each calculation.

Educational calculations

This models flour, water and starter by mass. It does not calculate fermentation time, food safety, salt recommendations or flour absorption, and it does not treat other wet ingredients as pure water.

Results depend on the values you supply and the stated method. A result is not a binding quote, product certification, professional assessment or guarantee of a future outcome. Examples demonstrate arithmetic. You are responsible for selecting an appropriate input source and checking requirements that apply to your real situation.

Inputs and model boundaries

A 70% dough means 70 g of water for each 100 g of total flour under this model. It does not mean that water is 70% of the final dough mass. Salt, seeds, fats and other ingredients increase dough weight without belonging automatically in this simple water-to-flour ratio.

Do not force a model to represent a different question by changing unrelated fields. The calculator page explains units, method and examples, and the journal guide explains the comparison record.

Reasonable use and content rights

Do not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious messages or use material in a way that infringes rights. Avoid sharing credentials and private records. Rights in third-party material remain with their owners. Contact the operator with the affected URL for a content-rights concern.

External services and advertising

External websites and advertisements, if displayed, are controlled by their operators and have their own terms. A link or ad does not mean LoafRiseLab endorses a provider or guarantees a claim. Availability and external content can change.

Changes and corrections

Software and explanations may be corrected or updated. Use the contact page to report a reproducible issue. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be limited. The privacy policy describes calculator inputs, page visits and messages.
